Well...it looks like rain today! Or as Sally Severson says: "liquid precipitation" and Lyra O'brien says "liquid moisture". Hey ladies...Its RAIN!

It must be frustrating to plan all year for an outdoor event only to have it spoiled by Mother Nature.

Of course some events can go on "Rain or Shine" however a car show is one that everybody just decides to stay home and watch golf instead of letting their car get wet.

Maybe it's not the threat of a little water that keeps our cars in the garage but the hours & hours of cleanup that's required.

I feel sorry for the organizers whose events are impacted by the unpredictable Wisconsin weather.
I'm sure it's due to "global warming" which has actually been happening since the ice age peaked thousand of years ago.

* If there was ever any doubt, YEP(!!!)...black painted cars are dirt and water spot magnets.
Tom how you think the people in Seattle&Tacama,WA,feel when it rains almost every day out there, very few non rain days.
I was stationed at Fort Lewis Washington for short time. You're right... I don't recall ever see'n the sun when I was there.

Did you know they have the highest suicide rate in that part of the country?

Hey the sun is out!
Sally Severson can call rain 'angel pee' for all I care. I think she's cute. Not bad for an older lady.
"Angel pee", "liquid precipitation", Liquid moisture" or RAIN... I don't care what you call it but it sure is frustrating trying to organize something here in Wisconsin!

SIGH!
angel pee? haven't heard that one before. so, what is snow? god's dandruff?

I was at McCord AFB and got "Cloud Burned"... Really...!

Sucks!

Sunday... West Allis and Root River Car shows!

RAIN! Sad
I went to Root River. Wasn't too bad until the rain started. Drew two cars aand won first place in the model contest with a 56 Chebbie. Of course there were only two model cars...but I got first, did I mention that I got first?
I was at the West Allis car show (three blocks from my house) and it had a pretty good turn out. Even when the rain started people stayed. I am guessing that there had to be well over 200 cars. That is just a guess
I've been here since the 20th of September and haven't seen any rain yet. Just a few drops overnight. The weatherman's job is just a recording of the previous day's weather and they run that for a month!lol.
