Unfortunately these past two weeks were rained out at Wednesday Night Classics. That’s too bad because we were looking forward to the WSRA and the Nostalgic Car Club cruising in as the feature clubs. The good news is the members of the Nostalgic Car Club came anyway and spent the evening enjoying dinner together at Pete’s.
As you know, Labor Day marks the end of summer. The sun is setting earlier, the days are getting shorter and so is the list of car shows that we can cruise to in our cool cars! Fear not! because we can still have decent weather well into October.
Sadly, the Wednesday AFTER Labor Day also marks the end of the season for Wednesday Night Classics. You’re right.there’s still lots of good days until the first snow flies. However the reason we end this early in the season is to not only give our volunteers a break, but also give the regulars an opportunity to visit some of the other great venues. Speaking of great venues, a bunch of us will be cruising down to the south side to visit our friends at Solid Gold McDonalds on Wednesday Sept 12. Everybody is welcome! We’ll meet up at the Goerke’s Corners Park ‘n Ride then depart at 5:30 PM. We’ll head east on I 94 then south on I 894 to 84th street. Meet us at Goerke’s Corners, join up along the way or meet us there.
Then don’t forget that Friday Night, Sept 14, Wednesday Night Classics and The Legendary Great Lakes Dragaway in Union Grove presents a special evening for all WNC’rs and their guests!
Race your car for ET's or just come watch and have some fun.

I’m not sure about all of you, but it’s been a busy fun filled season at Wednesday Night Classics. It’s been a blast getting together every week and it’s been a pleasure meeting some of the “First-Timers”. I am truly convinced that we have the finest array of nice cars and ya’ll are surely the nicest bunch of people in the world. We know you have a choice of where to go with your cool car so we’re glad you choose to come to Wednesday Night Classics.
